The Expert Staff at Traditions at Solana

Our days are filled with important duties and routines. Yet human connection takes precedence over the necessities of our job descriptions every time. You are why we're here.

We bring varied backgrounds and skills to our roles, but we are all here to love and support you.

Executive Director: Ty Warner

Ty began his career with Traditions at North Willow in 2021 as Maintenance Director, then completed the Administrator in Training program and earned his Residential Care Administrator license. He later served as Assistant Executive Director for 1 year before joining the Traditions at Solana team in January 2025.

For Ty, senior living is more than a profession—it’s a calling, inspired by the wisdom of his grandfather and the senior residents he serves.

Ty and his wife, both graduates of Indiana State University with degrees in Health Care Administration, share a love for family and community. Together they are raising their son, Maxwell, and their beagle, Ava.

Outside of work, Ty is a proud IU basketball fan and one of seven siblings, which has shaped his appreciation for teamwork and connection.

Wellness Director : Shavonda Taylor

Since 2012, Shavonda Taylor has dedicated her career to supporting seniors through both clinical and residential care. She began in rehabilitation, spending eight years helping adults regain strength, mobility, and confidence. For the past six years, she has worked in assisted living, focusing on residents’ daily needs while prioritizing dignity, independence, and person-centered care.

She joined the Traditions of Solana team in October 2019 as a floor nurse and became part of the leadership team in August 2024. Her decision to become a nurse was inspired by caring for a close relative facing significant health challenges—a personal experience that sparked her lifelong commitment to helping seniors age with dignity.

"I chose to be a nurse because I wanted to learn how to care for a close relative who was facing significant health challenges. My goal was to understand their condition, advocate for them, and help them remain in their home—where they felt most secure and at peace. That personal experience is what sparked my commitment to caring for seniors and supporting individuals who want to age with dignity."

Outside of work, she is proud to be both an only child and the parent of five (four biological and one bonus through marriage). She is married to someone who grew up in a family of 14 siblings, a fun detail that always surprises people and adds a unique twist to her story.

Megan Manges

Community Relations Director: Megan Manges

Megan grew up in Ann Arbor, MI and double-majored in Biology and Chemistry before moving to Carmel, Indiana to care for her grandfather. She credits that time in her life for giving her firsthand knowledge of and empathy for the transitions in life and how difficult it can be to make changes for yourself or your loved ones.

"I want to be a compassionate partner and reliable resource for potential residents and their families, even if they don't choose our community. Our team is remarkable and goes out of their way to treat everyone like a big family. In light of recent Covid restrictions, the little things really matter." Megan and her husband, Steve have been married for more than 13 years and their dog, Bella Grace is their pride and joy.
