Featured Employee of the Month Elizabeth White

At Traditions at Solana, we are proud to recognize Elizabeth White, Lead Housekeeper, as our Employee of the Month. Elizabeth exemplifies our core values of Important vs. Necessary and Service through her dedication, compassion, and willingness to step up whenever she is needed.

Since joining Traditions at Solana in June 2026, Elizabeth has made a meaningful impact on residents, families, and team members alike. As Lead Housekeeper, she consistently goes above and beyond, not only delivering exceptional work but also serving as a trusted mentor for new housekeeping team members. Elizabeth enjoys training and supporting new employees, finding great reward in watching them grow and succeed in their roles.

Elizabeth's commitment to service extends far beyond her daily responsibilities. A licensed Home Health Aide, she brings an added level of compassion and care to the community. During the community's evacuation to Westfield, she stepped in to assist the Wellness team when extra support was needed. She has also generously helped housekeeping teams at sister communities, demonstrating the kind of teamwork and reliability that make a lasting difference.

What Elizabeth loves most about her work is interacting with residents and families. She shares that seeing residents and their loved ones happy with her work brings her a great sense of satisfaction. One of her most memorable experiences involved spending extra time with a resident who was going through a difficult period and rarely left their apartment. Elizabeth encouraged the resident to attend a game of bingo, where they won, and seeing the resident smile and enjoy the experience was incredibly rewarding for her.

Born and raised in Indianapolis, Elizabeth treasures spending time with her family, especially her three grandchildren. On her days off, you'll often find her enjoying family time and spoiling her grandkids. She also has a hidden talent: she's an excellent cook.

When challenges arise, Elizabeth is often the first person her team can count on. Her dependability, positive attitude, and genuine care for others make her an invaluable member of the Traditions at Solana family. Whether she is supporting residents, helping a coworker, mentoring a new employee, or lending a hand at another community, Elizabeth consistently leads through service.
